BB Code
BB code is a set of tags based on the HTML language that you may already be familiar with. They allow you to add formatting to your messages in the same way as HTML does, but have a simpler syntax and will never break the layout of the pages you are viewing. The ability to use BB code is set on a forum-by-forum basis by the administrator, so you should check the forum rules when you post a new message.

Incorrect BB Code Usage:
  • [url] www.example.com [/url] - don't put spaces between the bracketed code and the text you are applying the code to.
  • [email]myname@domain.com[email] - the end brackets must include a forward slash ([/email])

Bold / Italic / Underline
The [b], [i] and [u] tags allow you to create text that is bold, italic and underlined.

Bulleted Lists
The [list] tag allows you to create simple, bulleted lists without specifying an option. Within the value portion, each bullet is denoted by the [*] tag.

Advanced Lists
The [list] tag allows you to create advanced lists by specifying an option. The option should have a value of 1 (for a numbered list) or A (for an alphabetic with capital letters list) or a (for an alphabetic with lowercase letters list) or I (for a numbered with capital Roman numeral list) or i (for a numbered with small Roman numeral list).

Images
The [img] tag allows you to embed images within your posts. You can also combine this tag with the [url] tag to make images become links.

PHP Code
The [php] tag performs the same function as the [code] tag, but also adds syntax highlighting for PHP code. Although it is designed for PHP, it may correctly highlight some other C-like languages.

Per chi viene in auto, dalla autostrada A1 direzione sud uscire al casello Bologna-Casalecchio. Per chi fosse dotato di un RTX VHF, sarà attiva la frequenza di HELP sui 145,387.5 MHz

30 Suggerimenti sui Contests (by K9JY):

  1. Schedule your Contests. Programma i tuoi contests. La cosa davvero più bella dei contests è che essi sono programmati con regolarità, indipendentemente da grande propagazione, spedizioni DX o dall'umore del Sole.
  2. Create a contest goal. Stabilisci un obiettivo per il contest. Gli obiettivi sono una buona cosa e aiutano a motivarti mentre partecipi.
  3. Contest on your terms. Fai un contest per i tuoi motivi  Partecipa ai contest per le tue ragioni. Non tutti partecipano ai contests per vincere; potresti voler imparare un nuovo modo
  4. Have an operating plan. Fai un piano operativo. Avere un piano ti fornisce una guida per il contest e un riferimento da confrontare con la realtà durante la gara.
  5. Test equipment before the contest. Verifica le apparecchiature prima del contest. Vuoi che le tue cose funzionino, vero ?

  13. Have propagation plan. Fai un piano sulla propagazione. Programmi sulla propagazione possono suggerire cosa sarà aperto e dove. Avere un piano sulla propagazione può costituire una guida durante il contest.

In questa immagine, quindi, si vedono in anticipo parti del Sole (ed eventuali macchie solari) che dalla Terra saranno visibili solo successivamente. In questa immagine, quindi, si vedono  parti del Sole (ed eventuali macchie solari) che dalla Terra,a causa della rotazione del Sole sul proprio asse, non risultano più visibili. Definizione indice planetario Kp

L'indice K è  correlato alla massima oscillazione delle componenti orizzontali osservate su un magnetometro con riferimento ad un giorno di quiete, in un intervallo di 3 ore. La tabella di conversione da massima oscillazione (nT) a indice K varia da osservatorio ad osservatorio in un modo che gli andamenti storici del ricorrere di certi livelli dell'indice K sono circa gli stessi per tutti gli osservatori. In pratica questo significa che gli osservatori a più alte latitudini geomagnetiche richiedono più alti livelli di oscillazione per un dato indice K. L'indice Kp, invece, è la media pesata degli indici K provenienti da una rete di osservatori geomagnetici sparsi sul Globo (da qui l'aggettivo di planetario).

Con K >= 5 si hanno condizioni di campo geomagnetico terrestre perturbato (vedere scala in alto a destra). Più è alto K più instabili sono le condizioni di propagazione ionosferica. Si possono verificare anche periodi di totale assenza di propagazione, specialmente alle alte latitudini e nelle regioni polari. Valori estremamente alti di K annunciano il verificarsi della propagazione via Aurora, mentre la  propagazione a lunga distanza risulta fortemente degradata a tutte le latitudini.

Definizione dell'indice A

L'indice A è stato introdotto perchè c'era bisogno di derivare un qualche tipo di livello medio giornaliero per l'attività geomagnetica. A causa della relazione non lineare tra la scala dell'indice K e le oscillazioni del magnetometro , non è significativo prendere le medie di un gruppo di indici K. Quello che al contrario è stato fatto è convertire ciascun indice K in un indice a scala lineare chiamato indice "a" (notare la lettera minuscola) equivalente ad un intervallo di tre ore. L'indice A giornaliero (notare la lettera maiuscola) è semplicemente la media di otto indici "a" (3 x 8 = 24 ore).

Vale quanto detto per K. Più è alto A più instabili sono le condizioni di propagazione ionosferica. Per valori molto alti di A l'Aurora (mappa sulla destra) può estendersi a latitudini notevolmente inferiori a quelle dove si verifica di norma.

Questo grafico contiene l'andamento del valore, mediato su un intervallo di 5 minuti, del flusso solare di raggi X nelle bande 0,1-0,8 nm e 0,5-4,0 nm. A volte si verificano interruzioni del diagramma durante le eclissi dei satelliti. Grosse emissioni di raggi X causano evanescenze dei segnali in onde corte per le tratte radio situate nell'emisfero illuminato dal Sole. Alcune grandi esplosioni solari sono accompagnate da forti emissioni radio che possono interferire con i satelliti.

Alti valori del flusso di raggi X causano intensa ionizzazione dello strado D della ionosfera, il che si traduce in forte assorbimento dei segnali radio in onde corte.  
questa è la global D-region absorption prediction. Rappresenta tramite un diverso colore variabile dal nero al rosso, per ogni punto del planisfero, la più alta frequenza affetta (HFA) dall'assorbimento di 1dB nel percorso verticale Terra-ionosfera-Terra. Le frequenze più basse della HFA saranno affette da un assorbimento maggiore da parte dello strato D, come indicato dal grafico a barre a destra della mappa.

Come scritto più sopra, l'assorbimento da parte dello strado D aumenta sensibilmente in concomitanza di alti valori del flusso di raggi X, come spesso avviene in occasione di importanti esplosioni (o brillamenti) solari.

Questo grafico contiene l'andamento del valore, mediato su un intervallo di 5 minuti, del flusso solare di protoni come misurato dal satellite GOES-11 per intervalli di energia >=10, >=50 e >=100 MeV.

Valori del flusso di protoni maggiori di 10 sono associati a espulsioni di protoni ad elevata energia a seguito di esplosioni solari (flares). Queste particelle cariche espulse dal Sole raggiungono la Terra in prossimità della quale si concentrano ai poli, per effetto del campo magnetico terrestre. L'effetto sulle radiocomunicazioni è un anomalo assorbimento , fino al tolate black-out nei casi peggiori, dei segnali radio lungo le tratte che passano in prossimità dei poli.  

 

Andamento negli anni del flusso solare sulla lunghezza d'onda dei 10,7 cm

Questo grafico rappresenta l'andamento del ciclo solare in base al flusso solare misurato sulla lunghezza d'onda dei 10,7 cm (2800 MHz). Esiste una stretta relazione tra flusso solare sui 2800 Mhz e numero di macchie solari.  I dati vengono aggiornati mensilmente dallo Space Weather Prediction Center http://www.swpc.noaa.gov/SolarCycle/  Maggiore è il valore del flusso solare a 10,7 cm , migliori sono le condizioni di propagazione ionosferica dei segnali radio. Esso , infatti, è in relazione con i raggi ultravioletti provenienti dal Sole e che ionizzano gli strati alti della ionosfera. Maggiore è il flusso radio sui 2800 MHz , maggiore sarà la MUF (massima frequenza utilizzabile) che ci si potrà aspettare. In genere, nn valore del flusso radio a 10,7 cm pari a 70 già consente collegamenti radio a singolo salto sulla ionosfera alle basse latitudini. I collegamenti a lunga distanza sono decisamente favoriti già con valori del flusso pari a 120. Secondo alcuni, un valore medio del flusso solare sui 2800 Mhz pari a 170 rappresenta condizioni ideali per facili collegamenti DX in bassa potenza (QRP) sulle bande alte (dai 10 ai 20m).

L'effective Smoothed Sunspot Number è quel valore di SSN per il quale , una volta inserito nel modello della ionosfera, risulta pari a zero la differenza tra il valore della foF2  (frequenza critica dello strato F2) calcolato dal modello e il valore della foF2 effettivamente osservato da un certo numero di ionosonde. L'SSNe viene calcolato ogni giorno dal NorthWest Research Associates (NWRA) di Redmond (WA-USA) sulla base dei valori di foF2 misurati dalle ionosonde nelle ultime 24 ore.  Esso può essere utilizzato con i diversi software di previsione della propagazione per analisi in tempo reale.
