è stata rilasciata la versione 1.05 beta di SmartSDR , che anticipa la 1.1 ufficiale prevista per Gennaio 2014.
Numerosi i fix in questa beta, e questa una descrizione del tanto agognato DAX che sarà appunto incluso in SmartSDR 1.1
Recently, we've been working on DAX, our audio and wide-band data solution. With DAX you will be able to connect digital mode programs such as MixW, FLdigi and CW Skimmer directly to SmartSDR software without using external cables. Those of you that have used similar solutions with PowerSDR know what a huge win this is. With DAX, there are no dangling cords or RFI on those cables to complicate operation. Not only this, but with DAX there are no third party audio cable programs required -- it's now all built-in to SmartSDR. And since DAX is tailored for operation with the FLEX-6000 Signature Series radios, setup and operation is a snap. We are excited about introducing DAX to the world and we're working hard to get it to you as soon as we can. All of this functionality is scheduled for release in January 2014 with SmartSDR v1.1
