Yes Gary, they plans to be active on air around that hour.

Salve, io sta operando in 144 MHz, con wsjt, via MS. Tra di noi la distanza di 1500 km sta permetendo a fare un colegamento via MS in 144. Vi prego a dire se la squadra ho l'aparechio e la possibilita di lavorare con wsjt via MS. Io sono in locator KN35XG. Quadrantids meteor shower will be maximum on January 3, 2009, at 12.50 UT. Penso di avere buoni condizioni di fare colegamenti.

Arrivano bene , li ho sentiti in fonia in 40 e 17m , sono passato solo in 40 ..... tutti gli operatori si lamentano del QRM locale , quindi... abbiate pazienza!


Arriving well, I heard them in voice at 40 and 17m, I'm at log only on 40 ..... all operators ave local QRM, and then ... be patient!

A suggestion. We have limited space for DX operating on 80 meters. DX stations, such as myself, should never listen "split" inside the 3.790 - 3.800 window. Never, ever! No matter how rare or "important" we think the operation is. If you are really rare you will be spotted on any Tx fx and you can listen below or above the window. Also, more than a 5 KHz band for listening is NOT productive and creates more confusion than anything. My opinion based on 50 years in ham radio. 73 & good DX.

As far as I understand by 15m levels, 10-12 z is a good time to try 12 and 10m

Will E44M get on 2 meters JT65B on there moon sets? If so what frequency? I will be calling CQ in 144.127 second durning there moon set times. Thank you and good luck.

Please pass on to the E44M crew...In Northern Calif. we have NOT EVEN HEARD THEM. Our best/only time here to work them is probably ON 30m AT 1500Z plus or minus a half hour. Perhaps 40m at same time frame. They will have to STAND-BY for WEST COAST (W6/W7) or we will never be able to hear/work them. Many on WEST COAST NEED THEM!
